Ethyl 1H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazole-5-carboxylate is a tetrahydroquinoline synthesized by the condensation of amines and aldehydes. It is also known as benzotriazole. The compound has been shown to be an excellent catalyst in the synthesis of other compounds related to this family, such as tetrahydroquinolines. This compound can be used in combinatorial chemistry for the preparation of new substances with a variety of pharmacological activities.
