Descrizione

Ethyl 5-amino-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylate is a potent agonist of the soluble guanylate cyclase enzyme that produces guanylate. It has been shown to be effective in hepatitis virus, and is thought to act by binding to the viral polymerase protein. This drug also binds to the rna polymerase enzyme, which is responsible for converting RNA into DNA. The affinity of ethyl 5-amino-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylate for these enzymes is low and it has a low yield when synthesized enzymatically. However, this drug has been shown to be potent agonists at these enzymes, with an affinity that is greater than other drugs used against hepatitis viruses such as interferon
