Ethyl hydrazinoacetate hcl is a chemical compound that has been used in the past to study biological processes, including inflammatory diseases and insulin resistance. It has also been used to study metabolic disorders caused by viruses, such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or hepatitis. Ethyl hydrazinoacetate hcl binds to adrenergic receptors, which are found throughout the body and regulate many bodily functions. The binding of this compound to these receptors results in an increase in the release of norepinephrine from nerve endings, resulting in increased blood pressure and heart rate. This drug may also be effective for treatment of diabetic neuropathy or myocardial infarcts.
