(η5-2,4-Cyclopentadien-1-yl)[(1,2,3-η)-1-phenyl-2-propenyl]-palladium (PCP) is an activated catalyst that is used for cross-coupling reactions. PCP has been shown to be catalytic in a variety of reactions including the Heck reaction, Suzuki coupling and reductive amination. PCP can tolerate high temperatures and solvents and has a long shelf life. It is also resistant to oxidation by air and moisture. PCP can be used for both preparative scale or for small scale filtration.
