Informazioni sul prodotto
- 7-Fluoro-DL-tryptophan
7-Fluoro-tryptophan is a substrate for bacterial enzymes that catalyze the cyclization of tryptophan to indole. 7-Fluoro-tryptophan has been shown to be an inhibitor of carboxypeptidase and may have therapeutic potential for the treatment of infections caused by E. coli. 7-Fluoro-tryptophan was found to inhibit the growth of E. coli in culture, which may be due to its ability to inhibit carboxypeptidase, which is necessary for the conversion of tryptophan into indole.
