Informazioni sul prodotto
4-Fluoro-2-methyl-1H-indole is a quinoline derivative that is used as an anti-cancer drug. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in the lungs and other organs, but also to have antibacterial properties. 4-Fluoro-2-methyl-1H-indole inhibits the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and can be used to treat age related progression of cancer. This drug has been shown to be effective against the bacteria Staphylococcus epidermidis, which causes infections in heart valve replacements and catheters. 4-Fluoro-2-methyl-1H-indole has also been found to have chemotherapeutic effects on Bacillus subtilis and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, although it is not active against Gram positive bacteria such as Streptococcus pyogenes or Enterococcus faecalis.
