5-Fluoro-2-methoxyaniline is a diphenylmethane derivative that is used in the production of cellulose acetate, epoxy, and diisocyanates. It has a high melting point and good heat resistance. 5-Fluoro-2-methoxyaniline has been shown to be resistant to epoxy and phenolic solvents, making it an ideal candidate for use in packaging applications. 5-Fluoro-2-methoxyaniline can also be used as a transition metal catalyst in the production of polymers with high temperature resistance.
