Descrizione

Tartrazine is a yellow dye that belongs to the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is used in the food industry as a colorant and has been used in many other products, such as medicines, cosmetics, and household goods. Tartrazine has been shown to be an agonist for the P2Y receptor and also inhibits the production of prostaglandin E2 by inhibiting phospholipase C activity. This drug has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in mouse models of inflammatory diseases.
