Fmoc-O-trityl-L-threonine is a conjugating agent that can be used to synthesize octapeptides. This chemical reacts with the phe-oh group of an amino acid and a radical to produce an ester. Fmoc-O-trityl-L-threonine is synthesized by reacting the amino acid L-threonine with dichloromethane in the presence of a radical initiator, such as benzoyl peroxide. The reaction can be carried out in either batch or continuous flow reactors.
