Informazioni sul prodotto
- Fmoc-L-Ala-aldehyde
Fmoc-L-alaninal is a cyclic peptide that inhibits the growth of carcinoma cells by reducing ATP levels and causing necrotic cell death. It can also enhance the cytotoxicity of other anticancer drugs, such as doxorubicin. Fmoc-L-alaninal binds to the active methylene group on hyaluronic acid and causes gelation of these compounds. This leads to an increase in water content, which enhances the cytotoxicity of chemotherapeutic agents. Fmoc-L-alaninal has been shown to be effective in vitro against a number of cancer cell lines and has been used successfully in vivo for treatment of rat sarcomas.
