Fmoc-1-amino-4,7,10-trioxa-13-tridecanamine succinimic acid is a synthetic amide that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of peptides. It has a conformational structure and can be labeled with dyes to study the structures of proteins or peptides. Fmoc-1-amino-4,7,10-trioxa-13-tridecanamine succinimic acid has been used as an immunogen in the preparation of monoclonal antibodies. It also can be conjugated to drugs or other compounds for use as bioconjugates. This compound has been shown to have enzymatic activity and can be used as a substrate for enzyme linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). Trifluoroacetic acid is commonly used in the synthesis of this compound.
