Descrizione:
3-(4-Fluorophenoxy)propionic acid is a hydrofluoric acid reductase inhibitor that can be used as a remedy for diabetes. It inhibits the enzyme hydrofluoric acid reductase, which converts hydrofluoric acid to HF and fluoride ion. 3-(4-Fluorophenoxy)propionic acid is anhydrous and soluble in water, which makes it suitable for oral administration. It has been shown to reduce blood glucose levels in diabetic mice by inhibiting the enzymatic activity of hepatic gluconeogenesis.
