Informazioni sul prodotto
- Quinoline, 7-Fluoro-
7-Fluoroquinoline is a mutagenic compound that belongs to the class of fluorine compounds. It has been shown to be mutagenic for bacteria, such as Salmonella typhimurium and Escherichia coli. 7-Fluoroquinoline is also mutagenic for human lymphocytes, causing DNA damage and mutation. This compound has been shown to be mutagenic in yeast with a nitro group at position 5. The spectrum of 7-fluoroquinoline includes the fluorine atom, which enhances its mutagenicity by increasing the reactivity of hydrogen ions or electron beams on DNA. 7-Fluoroquinoline is an isomer of 5-nitroquinoline, which has also been found to cause DNA damage and mutation in mammalian cells.
