Informazioni sul prodotto
- 6-Fluoronicotinoyl chloride
6-Fluoro-3-Pyridinecarbonylchloride is a positron emission tomography (PET) radiotracer that is selective for the dopamine D3 receptor. It has high affinity for this receptor and does not bind to any other dopamine receptors or serotonin receptors. The compound can be used for imaging of the dopaminergic system in living subjects, as well as studying the effects of drugs on dopamine D3 receptors. 6-Fluoro-3-Pyridinecarbonylchloride has been shown to have good selectivity, with an IC50 of 0.5 nM in binding studies with 5HT1A receptor. This compound also binds to chloride channels and inhibits their activity, which may be responsible for its binding to the dopamine D3 receptor.
