2-[4-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1,3-thiazol-2-yl]acetamide is a planar molecule with the chemical formula C5H6FN3S. It can be synthesized by condensation reaction of 2-aminothiophenol and 4-(4-fluorophenyl)thiazole. The nucleophilic substitution reaction between 2-[4-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,3-thiazol-2-yl]acetamide and benzene yields 2-[4-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,3-thiazol-2-yl]ethanol. This product is soluble in water and has physico-chemical properties such as crystal structure and dihedral at room temperature.
