Flutrimazole is a triazole antifungal agent that can be used to treat fungal infections. It has been shown to have a synergistic effect when given in combination with other drugs, such as benzalkonium chloride, for the treatment of Candida and other fungal infections. Flutrimazole is used as an ophthalmic preparation for the topical treatment of choroidal neovascularization and inflammatory eye diseases. Flutrimazole has biological properties that make it useful for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and infectious diseases.
