Informazioni sul prodotto
4,6-Bis(4-fluorophenyl)-2-methyl-5-(4-pyridinyl)-2H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine (PFMP) is a potent p38 kinase inhibitor. It has been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines in vitro and in vivo. PFMP is a competitive inhibitor of ATP binding to the p38 kinase enzyme, which prevents phosphorylation of proinflammatory cytokine substrates. PFMP has also been shown to suppress inflammation in experimental animal models and human cell lines. This drug is being investigated for use as an antiinflammatory treatment for chronic inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's disease.
