Informazioni sul prodotto
Galanin is a peptide hormone that is secreted by the anterior pituitary gland. It has been shown to be effective in treating diabetes mellitus type 2 (T2D) patients with fatty acid metabolism problems, as well as in reducing insulin resistance. The mechanism of this drug's action is not yet fully understood and may involve its ability to stimulate adenylate cyclase activity and inhibit transaminase levels. Galanin also has been shown to have diagnostic value for T2D patients, as it was found to be able to differentiate between T2D and healthy controls. A study on ovary cells showed that galanin inhibits the release of serotonin and can stimulate human studies, regression, analogy
