Hexamethylindotricarbocyanineiodide is a molecule that emits blue light and has fluorescence properties. It can be used for optical patterning of human serum or other biological samples. Hexamethylindotricarbocyanineiodide is chemically inert, has low toxicity, and is not photobleachable. The optical sensor based on this molecule can be used to detect radiation when it is near the detector or when it interacts with a polarizer.
