HA 150 is a Ca2+-sensitive liposome that has been shown to be effective in vitro. Triticum aestivum (wheat) extract was used as the lipid bilayer, and high-sensitivity CRP (hsCRP) was used as the biological target. HA 150 was found to inhibit the growth of mutant melanoma cells in vitro and also has anti-cancer properties. It has also been shown to have antiviral activity against influenza virus and some other viruses. HA 150 is thought to be an effective treatment for allergic reactions and may have potential use in treatment of cancer, hepatitis, nephrology dialysis, urea nitrogen, or mda-mb-231 breast cancer.
