Informazioni sul prodotto
- Benzonitrile, 2-hydroxy-5-methoxy-
- 2-Hydroxy-4-Methoxybenzonitrile
2-Hydroxy-4-methoxybenzonitrile is a potent inhibitor of protein kinases, such as dyrk1a. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of many protein kinases, including PKA and PKC. The inhibition of PKC by 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzonitrile may be due to its ability to bind to the ATP binding site on the enzyme. Dimethylformamide is an intermediate in the synthesis of 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzonitrile. Dimethylacetal is an analogue that can be used for synthesis instead of dimethylformamide.
