Informazioni sul prodotto
- 4-Methoxysalicylamide
- 2-Hydroxy-4-Methoxybenzamide
2-Hydroxy-4-methoxybenzamide is a pesticide that belongs to the group of amides. The compound inhibits the biosynthesis of tyrosine by binding to the enzyme tyrosinase and interrupting its activity. 2-Hydroxy-4-methoxybenzamide also has an interaction with other pesticides, such as remoxipride, which may be due to intramolecular hydrogen bonding. This interaction may lead to an increase in the toxicity of these pesticides. Molecular modeling studies have shown that 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzamide forms hydrogen bonds with the salicylaldehyde molecule.
