Informazioni sul prodotto
Hydroxyphenethylanisate, 4- (HPET) is a phenolic acid that has been used in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. HPET has been shown to have potent inhibitory activity on the inflammatory response and cell proliferation. HPET has also been shown to be an inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), which are enzymes that break down collagen and other proteins in the extracellular matrix. HPET may be a useful agent for the treatment of chronic wounds, such as pressure ulcers, due to its ability to inhibit MMPs.
