Hexaphenyldisiloxane is a solid catalyst that can be used in the cross-linking of organic compounds. Hexaphenyldisiloxane is an organosilicon compound, composed of a hexaphenyl and a siloxane group. Hexaphenyldisiloxane can be used in nucleophilic attack to form new bonds with other molecules. Hydrochloric acid can be used as a catalyst for this reaction.
