1H-Indol-2-ylamine is a compound that is structurally related to indoleamine, which is an amino acid. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of the enzyme IDO1, which is involved in regulating the immune response and biochemical properties. 1H-Indol-2-ylamine has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects. This drug can be used for treatment of bowel disease, cancer tissues, and infectious diseases. 1H-Indol-2-ylamine has been shown to inhibit the growth of mouse tumor cells by binding to DNA polymerase and interfering with replication. It also inhibits cancer cell proliferation by targeting oncogenes such as Bcl2 and Mcl1. This drug binds to DNA polymerase and prevents it from adding new nucleotides necessary for DNA replication. The reaction mechanism may involve a covalent adduct between 1H-indol-2 ylamine and DNA polymerase or
