- 4-Aminoindazole
1H-Indazol-4-amine is a template molecule that can be used to synthesize polyhedra. This molecule interacts with the polyhedra, which are small, spherical molecules that are capable of binding to specific cells and initiating their death. 1H-Indazol-4-amine is also a diacetate that has been shown to induce apoptosis in cancer cells and inflammatory bowel disease cells. It has anti-depressant effects and increases dopamine levels in the brain, which may be due to its interaction with tyrosine kinase receptors. The pharmacokinetic properties of this molecule have not been extensively studied, but it has been shown to be metabolized by aromatisation into an estrogenic metabolite.
