Descrizione:
1-Iodo-1-propyne is an industrial chemical. It reacts with alkalis to form phenylpropyl iodide, a compound used in the production of cycloalkyl and ether pesticides. 1-Iodo-1-propyne is a strong antifungal agent and can be used as a staining agent for the identification of phenyl nuclei. 1-Iodo-1-propyne is also used in the synthesis of nitrobenzene, which is used as an insecticide against insects such as termites. Nitrobenzene is also used in the production of dyes, explosives, and drugs.
