Informazioni sul prodotto
Indol-5-yl sulfonyl chloride is an arginine antagonist that binds to the vasopressin V2 receptor. It has been shown to be a potent and selective antagonist of vasopressin, with a high affinity for the v2 receptor. This compound was synthesized through condensation of indole with sulfonyl chlorides in the presence of sodium methoxide in methanol. This reaction produces a high yield of the desired product, which can be purified by recrystallization from acetone or ethanol. The reaction is hydrolyzed by dilute acid to produce indol-5-yl sulfonic acid chloride.
