- Pyrazine-2,5-Dicarboxylic Acid Dihydrate
- Pyrazine-2,5-Dicarboxylate
2,5-Pyrazinedicarboxylic acid dihydrate is a synthetic compound that has been used in the modeling of acid molecules and nitrogen atoms. It is a white powder with a melting point of about 140°C that can be hydrolyzed to form 2,5-pyrazinedicarboxylic acid. The ester hydrochloride has been shown to react with anions such as chloride and bromide, forming ligands. 2,5-Pyrazinedicarboxylic acid dihydrate has also been used in the study of imidazoles and fluorescence measurement.
