Descrizione

Lobaplatin is a drug that inhibits the polymerase chain reaction by binding to the DNA. It is used in chemotherapy for treatment of solid tumours, including squamous carcinomas. Lobaplatin has been shown to be effective against platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, but it also has toxic effects on healthy tissues and cells. Lobaplatin inhibits mitochondrial membrane potential and pro-apoptotic proteins, which are involved in the regulation of apoptosis. It also targets intracellular targets through biocompatible polymer nanoparticles.
