Informazioni sul prodotto
N-Methyl-N-(trimethylsilyl)heptafluorobutyramide (MF-TMS) is a chromatographic reagent that is used for sample preparation prior to analysis by gas chromatography. It can be used in the separation of hydroxyl groups, triterpene alcohols, and profile of fatty acids. MF-TMS is also a useful reagent for acid analysis as it can be used to detect damaged lipolytic enzymes and sequences. This chemical has been shown to have fluorine which can be detected with a carthamus tinctorius test. MF-TMS reacts with the carthamus tinctorius test which produces a blue color due to the presence of free fatty acids. The analytical method is based on the reaction of MF-TMS with free fatty acids present in the carthamus tinctorius test, which produce a blue color.
