Informazioni sul prodotto
- Benzaldehyde, 2-[(3-Methoxyphenyl)Methoxy]-
2-[(3-Methoxybenzyl)oxy]benzaldehyde is a chemical compound that has been shown to inhibit the growth of leukemia cells in vivo. This compound is an inhibitor of caspase-9 and cell proliferation, which may be due to its ability to reduce the mitochondrial membrane potential and block DNA fragmentation. 2-[(3-Methoxybenzyl)oxy]benzaldehyde has also been shown to prevent leukemic mice from developing hematopoietic disorders and muscle cell proliferation. These effects may be due to its ability to stimulate colony-stimulating factors and induce apoptosis in hematopoietic cells. 2-[(3-Methoxybenzyl)oxy]benzaldehyde also inhibits tumor growth in xenografts derived from fetal bovine liver cells and human HL60 cells.
