Informazioni sul prodotto
2-Methoxy-4-methylpyridine (2MM4MP) is a heteroaromatic compound that belongs to the group of fluopyram. It can be used as a fungicide. 2MM4MP has been shown to inhibit histamine H2 receptor activity and was found to be long acting in vivo. The substitution pattern on the pyridine ring contributes to its stability, which is important for plant diseases. In addition, 2MM4MP has been shown to bind with sodamide and alkylate DNA through electron-donating substituents on the methyl group. This chemical reaction is known as alkylation and can lead to mutations in DNA, which may result in cancer or other diseases.
