Informazioni sul prodotto
- 1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid, 5-(aminomethyl)-, methyl ester
- Methyl 5-(aminomethyl)-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate
Methyl 5-(aminomethyl)-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate is a white crystalline solid with a molecular weight of 242.3g/mol and density of 1.5 g/cm3. It is selective for the oxidation of aliphatic C-H bonds, forming H2O and an anion, which is formed by the loss of a proton from the carboxylic acid group in the molecule. Methyl 5-(aminomethyl)-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate has shown affinity for intramolecular hydrogen bonds with electron donating groups such as amines or nitro groups on adjacent carbons. The geometry of this molecule can be rationalized using intramolecular hydrogen bonding interactions between two oxygen atoms that are bonded to the same carbon atom.
