2-Methoxy-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)pyridin-3-amine is a pyrimidine derivative that has been shown to have anticancer activity. This drug is currently being researched as a multitarget agent for the treatment of cancer. 2-Methoxy-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)pyridin-3--amine has been shown to inhibit the growth of breast cancer xenografts in mice and to be effective against some types of human breast cancer cells. This drug also inhibits kinase pathways that are involved in the development of cancer.
