Informazioni sul prodotto
6-Methoxy-1H-indole-3-carbonitrile is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of indole alkaloids. It is used in insecticides and fungicides. 6-Methoxy-1H-indole-3-carbonitrile has been shown to be an effective insecticide against cicadellidae, which includes leafhoppers, froghoppers, planthoppers and treehoppers. The morphological and molecular phylogenetic analyses of this molecule provided evidence that it is not toxic to noninsects such as frogs or mammals. In addition, 6-methoxy-1H-indole-3 carbonitrile has been shown to inhibit the growth of fungi such as pruinosa, which causes powdery mildew on grape vines.
