Informazioni sul prodotto
- 2-piperidinecarboxylic acid, methyl ester, (2R)-
Methyl (R)-piperidine-2-carboxylate is a phenanthroquinolizidine that inhibits cell proliferation. It is an enantiomerically pure compound with potent cytotoxic activity against cancer cells. Methyl (R)-piperidine-2-carboxylate has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cell lines in a dose-dependent manner. It has also been shown to be effective against certain human cancer cells and animal tumor models. The anti-proliferative effects of this compound are thought to be due to its ability to inhibit protein synthesis and DNA replication by binding to specific sites on the ribosomes and DNA, respectively.
