Descrizione:
(S)-Methyl piperidine-3-carboxylate is a potent inhibitor of the erythropoietin receptor (EPOR) and has shown potent inhibition in vitro. In vivo, this compound was shown to have an effect on polycythemia, which is a condition characterized by excessive production of red blood cells. The discovery of this compound was optimized for myeloproliferative disorders such as myeloproliferative neoplasm and thrombocythemia. This drug showed constitutive activation in kinase assays and was shown to be effective in animal models of myelofibrosis.
