Informazioni sul prodotto
- Butanoic acid, 3-amino-, methyl ester, (3R)-
- Methyl (3R)-3-aminobutanoate
Methyl 3-aminobutanoate is a primary amine that has been immobilized on a cyclic silica gel, yielding a highly active catalyst for the formylation of aldehydes. The use of this catalyst eliminates the need for acylase and organometallic catalysts, which are typically used to catalyze this reaction. Methyl 3-aminobutanoate can be used in enzymatic methods and covalent immobilization. It has been shown to be an effective catalyst for the synthesis of labeled compounds using an enantiomeric excess greater than 98%.
