Descrizione:
L-Menthyl L-lactate is a nonpolar solvent that is used as a skin cell dissolving agent. It is also used for the preparation of histamine levels in serum and tissue and as an intermediate for the synthesis of menthol. This compound has been shown to be effective against human pathogens, such as E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus. L-Menthyl L-lactate has been shown to be more stable than other solvents, such as acetone or methanol, which may be due to its chemical structure. It can be synthesized from monosodium salt and glycerin with phosphotungstic acid or cavity under reaction solution conditions at room temperature.
