Informazioni sul prodotto
- (2-Cyanophenyl)-acetic acid methyl ester
Methyl (2-cyanophenyl)acetate is a chemical with the molecular formula CH3C(O)CN. It is an isocyanate, which contains a nitrogen atom that has two isocyanate groups. Methyl (2-cyanophenyl)acetate is used as a functional group in organic chemistry to introduce nucleophilic attack on carbonyl and carbanionic bonds. This chemical can also be used to measure the rate of reaction by spectrophotometry, and it has been shown to have high kinetic reactivity. Methyl (2-cyanophenyl)acetate reacts with nucleophiles such as water or alcohols to form carbanions, which are compounds containing a negatively charged carbon atom. The bond cleavage of the c-c bond occurs through the addition of nucleophile and subsequent proton transfer.
