Informazioni sul prodotto
- 3-Methoxy-N-Methylisatoic Anhydride
3-Methoxy-N-methylisatoic anhydride is a cyclized intermediate that can be prepared by reacting methoxyacetic acid with methyl isocyanate in the presence of lithium at low temperatures. The 3-methoxy group on this molecule is used as a protecting group because it is stable under many conditions, such as high temperatures, and can be removed easily by hydrolysis. This molecule has been shown to react with quinine to form the alkaloid swietenidin, which acts as an anhydride. It also reacts with acrylic acid to form the enolate, which can then undergo nucleophilic attack by various nucleophiles.
