1-(6-Methylbenzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)hydrazine is an inhibitor of corrosion that belongs to the class of hydrazines. It is a colorless, odorless solid material that has been extensively studied for its effectiveness as a corrosion inhibitor. 1-(6-Methylbenzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)hydrazine has been shown to be an effective inhibitor in both acidic and alkaline solutions.
