Descrizione:
5-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol is an inhibitor of corrosion that belongs to the class of thiophene derivatives. It has potent anti-corrosive activity and is used in the chemical industry and in the production of polymers. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was used to study the corrosion inhibition mechanism of 5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol. The results showed that it inhibits corrosion by a transfer mechanism.
