10-Methyl-9-phenylacridinium perchlorate is a reactive matrix polymer that can be used to stabilize and enhance the transfer of anions. This polymer has a hydridic backbone, which allows it to form hydrogen bonds with other molecules. 10-Methyl-9-phenylacridinium perchlorate is synthesized by reacting acetonitrile and phenylacetic acid with chloroform in the presence of a base catalyst.
