4-Methoxydiphenylamine is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C10H14N2O3. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of bacterial skin infections, as well as on the surface of tissues and organs. 4-Methoxydiphenylamine is an unmodified molecule that can be used for mass spectrometry imaging techniques, such as chemical ionization, to detect bacteria. This agent also has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used in conjunction with other antibiotics to treat bacterial skin infections. 4-Methoxydiphenylamine binds to alkali metal ions or silicon ions and can form complexes that are then deposited onto surfaces where it inhibits bacterial growth.
