Descrizione:
1-(2-Nitrophenoxy)acetone is an efficient, selective, and environmentally friendly palladium catalyst for hydrogenation of alkenes. The catalyst was synthesized by a bimetallic catalytic route involving the use of active carbon as a support and a combination of ligands (pyridine, triphenylphosphine, and 4-chlorophenylboronic acid). This catalyst can be used in the hydrogenation of various alkenes such as 1-butene, 2-methylpropene, 1-hexene etc. It has been shown to produce high yields of the desired alkene with excellent selectivity.
