1-(4-Nitrophenyl)-1H-pyrazole is a conjugated acid that can be prepared by the bromination of 1,4-diaminobenzene. It has been shown to have an acidic nature and a viscosity of 0.3-0.5 millipoise at 20°C and a wavelength range of 330-390 nm. The 1,4-diaminobenzene can also be used to produce pyrazoles with different substituents on the pyrazole ring, such as nitrates or solvents. This process has been shown to yield high yields for both 1-(4-nitrophenyl)-1H-pyrazole and 2-(2′-chloroethyl)amino-5′-nitrobenzotriazole in the presence of an acid catalyst.
