Informazioni sul prodotto
5-Nitro-2-tetralone is a synthetic intermediate that has been used in the production of alkaloids and ergoline derivatives. It can be synthesized by reacting nitroethane with 5-nitrotetralone. 5-Nitro-2-tetralone has been used as an intermediate for the synthesis of Dihydroergotamine, Ergometrine, and other alkaloids. The compound is also an important stereocontrol agent for the synthesis of cycloadducts. The structure of 5-Nitro-2-tetralone is similar to that of LSA (lysergic acid amide), which is found in ergot fungi, however it lacks its hallucinogenic properties.
