It is used as an analgesic and it has shown efficacy in treating asthma, fibrosis, and other conditions. 3-[1-(4-Carbamoyl-2-methylphenyl)-5-(4-imidazol-1-ylphenyl)pyrrol-2-yl]propanoic acid is a derivative of n6022, which has been shown to inhibit the production of proinflammatory cytokines by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. This agent also has analgesic effects, which may be due to its ability to block the reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin in the brain.
